Mitch from our stores is pictured with a nice little Whiting taken out of the shallows down at Lake Conjola.
Spearfisho’s have been having a ball on the Kingfish lately, up north there were a couple 14kg and 16kg fish speared, and down south just today there were more caught.
Still plenty of Snapper around the inshore reefs, Jamie McGuire bagged himself a few the other day.
Lake Conjola is producing great numbers of Whiting and Flathead. Reports of 15 Whiting caught on the flats using the Bassday Sugapen 70F. The entrance to the lake has stacks of Flathead lies so that’s a great place to start for flatties!
Ian from our stores just got back from an awesome trip up north, he ended up landing two big GT’s using the Black Magic Poppers armed with BKK raptor hooks in 3/0.
