The Shimano Antares Baitcast Reels have an SVS INFINITY centrifugal brake that extends the trajectory smoothly until the latter half of the cast. In NEW ANTARES, to maximise spool-size performance, Shimano engineered the following line-capacity design values:nylon 14lb-100m and diameter/width 37/21mm.
The synergistic effects of installing the newly developed MGL SPOOL IV, with correct thread winding shape and inverse taper shape, newly shaped line guide, and worm shaft optimised for each gear ratio, make it possible to wind line regularly and in good balance, reducing spool vibration during casting. The combination of SILENT TUNE and S3D, both of which have been retained from previous models, prevents power loss during casting and realises a refreshing casting performance that extends to the limit.
The first bait reel to be equipped with SILENTDRIVE, and 3-bearing support for the drive gear shaft provide a high-quality and comfortable rotating feel. The palm shape fits naturally in the hand, and the clutch shape allows stress-free access to the spool, so that the series of actions from palming, clutch operation, casting, lure operation, and picking up can be performed fluidly. We strive to get our orders out as quickly as possible. To have your order sent out the same day, order by 9am and select 'Jump The Queue' at checkout to push your order to the front of the order processing pile. Orders that cannot be processed same day include orders with bulky items that require shipping via courier, international orders, or orders with missing items.
Orders containing bulky or oversized items are sent with a courier and picked up from our store one business day after we process them.
For orders with missing items, we may be able to transfer them from our second store location which can take between 1-2 business days. If this happens with your order, we will contact you asap to let you know of the delay.
We do not send items on weekends or public holidays, except during the weeks leading up to Christmas. Thus, items ordered on Friday after 9:30 am will be sent on Monday.
