Terry got stuck into the Drummer yesterday once the wind and swell dropped a little.

Reports of Snapper still being caught off the Wollongong area.

Tailor have been busting up in and around the Port Kembla Harbour in the evenings.

Kevin from our Wollongong store fished the Basin last week and landed a huge 68cm Tailor that fought like a much bigger fish.

Lake Illawarra is still producing its usual suspects, both Flathead & Blackfish being pulled out in numbers.

Joel Oliver has fished down south the last couple of days for Southern Bluefin Tuna. His biggest yesterday went 52kg (1 of 4) and today they found a big school that were taking anything and everything from bait to jigs to stick baits.

The water temperature is still quite warm for this time of year at 21 degrees, which is great for fishing out of the boat or land-based either beach or rocks.

Lake Conjola has finally been reopened so we can expect the fishing to heat up as the tides return to normal and the water freshens up, bringing with it plenty of bait and fish from the ocean.
