Sydney & Wollongong Fishing Report
Jackson Sweet has been doing well in the Port Hacking River the last few days. His first efforts landed him a very nice 78cm flathead caught on a Powerbait 4″ Minnow in the pearl watermelon colour and a 1/4oz TT Headlockz Jig Head. He was using the classic flathead flicking technique by letting the lure sink to the bottom, flicking the rod up twice, winding in the slack and repeating until he caught one!
Snapper have been caught in around 70-80m of water off Kiama with many from 2-4kg. Zman Jerk Shadz with elevator head hooks & Kabura Jigs did the damage.

John managed a solid silver trevally in the Hacking River before work late last week. He also reports squid were easy to catch and there were plenty of kingfish showing on the sounder along the cliffs. He caught a nice fish that went just over 70cm in the end.
